I thought I would add myself to this fun Christmas Open House, showing some of my holiday decor. Our tree, full of red and white.

Future Good Husbands

As promised, I took pictures of my boys mopping the floor. This is by far their favorite chore - think of it as a giant Slip and Slide. As with all things, the mops are being turned into swords...someone always ending up getting hurt.

I think of this as a favor to my future daughter in laws, boys who aren't afraid of domestic duties.

Here is Cruz, happy that he is too little to hold a mop.

 

My Three Sons

Last Friday was spent with a little hike, a lesson in skipping rocks and just gathering treasures. It was a day of Family Fun.

 

Polar Express

Last weekend we went on the Polar Express. The Grand Canyon Railway takes families all dressed in jammies on a train to the North Pole.


Here is Cruz all nice and warm with hid Dad.


We listened to the story of the Polar Express on our way to the North Pole.


They gave us hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies to eat on the train.


Santa came on board to give evert child a silver bell. It was fun and the kids thought it was magical.

This is my mother holding Baby Cruz. She is a great mother, grandmother and artist. Actually, she usually excels at pretty much everything she does. Well.....everything except for spelling. She has become known as the "Worlds Worst Speller." It wasn't until the other day that I realized that I inherited the poor spelling gene. I was praying for it to skip a generation. It didn't. I realized that I have been spelling the word pity with two t's. This wouldn't be that big of a deal except that it is what I named my blog! I guess I am just going to have to live with this terrible trait. It could be worse, I could have used two t's in the.
