NERD
Slade came walking in today like this, with Jason's glasses on and this shirt tucked into his jammies. He proclaimed "I'm a Nerd!" I guess Steve Urkle would be proud.

DON'T THREATEN ME WITH A GOOD TIME
Being that I am a huge fan of reality TV (why lie, let's just embrace it) I have found our new family mantra. As stated be Rodeo - that's a girls name - on Brett Michaels Rock of Love, "Don't threaten me with a good time." It is perfect in almost every setting. Try it out, see if it works for you. It worked for us when we went to the D-backs game. I was a little threatened, but I did have a good time.

School is Cool
I just got back from taking Blue and Slade to their first day of school. They were excited and ready to go. After meeting their teachers at meet the teacher night Slade said to Blue, "I wish my teacher was young like yours - not like a grandma." Blue said, "No Slade that's good. That means she has more experience." So Blue is off to 1st grade, I can't believe it. While Slade is going to a Pre-K that is at the school everyday half day. I think this Pre-K will be the perfect transition to full day Kindergarten. His teacher is super nice and i think she will be perfect for my little Slade pants. Blue's teacher is 22 years old. I'm sure she will be super motivated about teaching scince this is her first year...I hope. Anywho, now I am off to do a little shopping with just Cruz in tow.

Yes, These Are My Children.
These are a few pictures to show exactly what I am dealing with. Three boys, lots and lots of scotch tape on a daily basis, and a lot of messy "experiments." This is when I say, "Dear Lord, please help."

Cruzer
This is my baby Cruz. He is a crazy, sweet, high pitched screaming baby. His favorite place in the house to be is, in the bathroom with his hands in the toilet. This is not my favorite place for him to be. He apparently also loves Tupperware. He is a clown - watch out class of 2024.

Three Men and a Baby
Here is the latest baby in the ever popular G family. Sloan Marion. Blue and Slade are sure proud cousins.
Cruz soaking up the sun. His face looks especially round and kissable in this picture.
Blue ready at all times to throw a sand ball. I had to keep remind him that those are reserved for his Brother and Father. The Mother is immuned.
Slade relaxing and enjoying the sand. We all like summer better on the beach.

In Loving Memory
My autographed picture in my living room.
I just wanted to send out a little love for the late Tammy Faye. She died after a long battle of cancer. I love her and I am super sad that she is no longer with us. One thing I know for sure is that she went straight to Heaven. She was always such a great example of Christ like love. She accepted everyone with love - including Ron Jeremy - she just really knew how to love the sinner without loving the sin. After meeting her twice at two different swap meets and, watching her on The Eyes of Tammy Faye and The Surreal Life - I fell in love. She will be missed.

Fathers Day...A Few Days Late
I just realized that I should have had a blogging shout out to my Baby Daddy, also know as my husband. He is a great Dad and a pretty fun person to be sticking out eternity with.
All good Dad's know how to ride a tire swing.
All good Dad's know how to push a tire swing "super crazy high."
All good Dad's know how to pass 95% of their genes on to their offspring. That is how we got these three cute boys.

Nauvoo
Here are a few pic's of our trip to Nauvoo. It was fun and interesting checking out all the Mormon history. One major beef with Nauvoo - there are no decent places to eat there. We are talking a buffet serving potato pearls and a sandwich shop that thinks mayo is the bomb. Here are all the kids making old time paper hats for a parade.
Cruzer thinking that he is the biggest baddest walker on that side of the Mississippi.
Slade poking his little face out of a log cabin.
Blue soaking up the grassy fields and warm humidity.
It was super cool to gain a greater understanding of how things were for the settlers of our church. To better understand what sacrifices were made for the truth. I hope that my family will always carry with us an appreciation of the pioneers and the early Prophets. It is difficult to really have any sort of idea of what life would be like without Tivo and cell phones etc. Let me just say that I might die without my "So You Think You Can Dance" episodes. Hey, maybe it wasn't disease that caused so many problems back then, it was a lack of television. I am a terrible person.

A Day In
Blue at his school - showing off his spiders and webs diarama. Made all by himself.
This is what Slade says a Mormon looks like. Don't ask.
Cruz just playing up the whole baby thing. Love it.
