A Day In

Blue at his school - showing off his spiders and webs diarama. Made all by himself.

This is what Slade says a Mormon looks like. Don't ask.

Cruz just playing up the whole baby thing. Love it.

Bedtime

Just a little R and R with Cruz, Slade and Arthur.
Cruz is really starting to think he is a big kid. He says, "Enough with this baby business - I would rather hang out with my big brother."

The Fight

When I picked up Slade from preschool last week his teacher came walking out right after him, heading straight for my car door. I thought - "Oh great, what happened?" Then Slade got closer to the car and I saw scratches all over his face that were still bleeding. His teacher told me that she believed that Slade got pushed off his chair by this other little boy who was upset and wanting his seat. He told me that he just had to defend himself.... The funny thing was that Slade was by no means upset about this fight that happened exactly two minutes before I picked him up. He simply said, "Tyler started it and I finished it." After a good long talk about not fighting and telling the teacher if there is a problem - he promised that that would be his last fight EVER in school. What do you think my chances are of that being true with three boys?

EASTER

Our Easter was full of egg hunts and sugar overloads. My kids woke up bright and early to see what the Easter Bunny had brought for them. I guess the Easter Bunny really likes Bionicles, bubbles and their personal fav, Yugioh cards. Then off to Glama's house for some good food and good cousins to play with. Then the night ended with a ragin' dance party with Remi showing us the latest moves.

Future MVP

Slade had his first T-ball game and had a super fun time. His lovely Auntie Devan made his team cute baseball cupcakes.

Looking all proud of his self proclaimed "Star Player" status.

Baby brother Cruz holding the bat, never too early for some practice.

The loyal fans, Dev, Glama Fabulous, Kelli, Craig, Blue and Dad.

Stay tuned for the scholarship offers.

Happiest Place on Earth, Seriously.

We had a great time on our little va ca to California for spring break.

Baby Cruz walking to get on his favorite ride, the tea cups.

Blue just hanging out, waiting for his churro.

Slade was so cute and super excited to go on the Matterhorn for the very first time. He loved every minute of it. It was so fun to be able to ride a roller coaster with my two big boys.

Jason, Blue and Slade on the rockets. We had a blast.

Bad Blogger

So, I have been a bad blogger. I have been pretty busy with catering, mothering, sistering, friending, and wifeing. But here are a few pics of the past month...

The boys hiding under a sheet. Cruz was a little wierded out.

Slade having his daily jump on the trampoline. This always involves the sprinklers and a popsicle.

Feeding the scary and super aggressive ducks at the park.

Figuring out how to cause trouble by being cute and pulling off all the books.

Now we are off for a fun filled spring break! More posts to come loyal fans, hi Dave.

Anna Nicole

Let me just pay a tribute her to Anna. She was a little crazy, a little kooky, and a lover of pickles. I really do feel sad for her though - I feel bad that she had so much craziness in her life and that it ended on a low note. I do however feel happy that she made me laugh alot on her reality show. She will be missed.

A Day At The Park

We had a great day at the park. Blue perfected his monkey bar skills, Cruz did some swingin' and Slade thought it was a blast going upside down. This was one of those perfect days, where I count my blessings that I get to hang out with these boys all the time.

Six is the New Two

My family is officially cool. My Mom just got this amazingly awsome six passenger stroller! Now we can fit a whole lot of grandkids in one stroller. Just think of the zoo trips, walks to the park, and fun at the beach that we will have with this little number.

Slade

Yesterday Slade was just sitting quietly at the kitchen table when he asked Jason how to spell all. After Slade got that down on paper - Jason asked what are you trying to write? Slade said, "All Senior citizens should buy Life Alert." I am glad to see my son so concerned with the health of seniors...there was also a drawing of an old lady that had fallen.

Slade also announced today that he has a girlfriend. Her name is Hannah and apparently she kissed him on the cheek yesterday at preschool on the trampoline.

16th Anniversary!

16 years ago on MLK day, we became best friends. We were dropped off at the mall. We were sixth graders with only cute boys in mind. Contempo Casuals was the shiz. Time has gone by quickly. Now we have husbands and children, like real grown ups. Here's to all the prank calls, 24 hour Wal-Marts and endless pants wetting humor. Love you, love your butt.

Three Men and a Little Lady, not to be confused with Three Men and a Baby.

Spend the Nights Rock!

Xander and Nash, the cousins and best buddies of Blue and Slade came over for a sleep over. They had a blast being crazy and watching movies. I guess it was fun enough for Blue to let out a "rock on" sign. Brooke and I are encouraging that they keep this concept of having their best friends be their cousins. What a perfect way to up our chances of them being good and remembering to choose the right.

The Ghost of Christmas Past

Is it still considered Christmas if a bunch of your neighbors still have their lights turned on? If so, then it's still Christmas here in Deer Valley! We are happy to say that our Christmas was a blast and that everyone made it on the nice list.

Here lies the Christmas aftermath.

Cruz, stoked about the wrapping paper.

Blue got what he was dying for - Pokemon cards!
Who knew that the Pokemon craze would live so long?

Slade was thrilled with his very own Doodle Monster. He was very excited to see that the Monsters guts come out.

Christmas is now officially over.
Maybe I should post an anonymous letter in my neighborhood just to let everyone know.

Christmas Open House

I thought I would add myself to this fun Christmas Open House, showing some of my holiday decor. Our tree, full of red and white.

I love these cool snowman heads. Gotta love Marshalls.

Our stockings were hung on the wall with care.

Two very Christmasy boys.
